Systems Engineer: Systems Integration – Collins Class Submarine (2 years)

IDTR Analysis/System Integration – Collins Class Submarine Contract, R2.0 Integration Team. This position involves working with the Integration team to document, isolate, analyse and, where necessary, provide fixes for faults arising from integration activities. The scope of the position also includes planning and execution of system integration tasks as required.

The above translates to hands on experience in problem solving and rectification in most aspects of the Collins Class Combat System and development environment. This includes CSC’s Tactical Data Handling System, Thomson Marconi Sonar and extensive experience with the CS’s connection with the UNIX/Sun network test environment.
